At Custom Cichlids, I prioritize the safe and swift delivery of every fish to ensure they arrive healthy and in top condition. With years of expertise in caring for Cichlids, I’ve developed a reliable shipping process designed to minimize stress and protect the wellbeing of each fish.

Shipping Options

Next Day Air Shipping: This is our preferred shipping method, providing the highest level of safety and care for the fish in your order. We highly recommend choosing Next Day Air to ensure your fish experience the shortest travel time possible.
2-Day Shipping: While we do offer 2-day shipping, we strongly advise against it due to the increased risks associated with extended travel times. Variables outside of our control can impact the fish’s wellbeing, and for this reason, we cannot extend a DOA (Dead on Arrival) guarantee to orders shipped via this method.

DOA Guarantee Policy

For customers opting for Next Day Air, we offer a DOA Guarantee. If your fish arrives in an unfortunate state, you’ll be eligible for a refund or credit toward a comparable fish. Please note the conditions below to ensure eligibility:

Proof Upon Arrival: To qualify for the DOA Guarantee, take a clear photo and video immediately upon opening the package, ensuring the fish are visible.
Timely Verification: We receive a delivery notification once your package arrives. To keep the DOA Guarantee valid, please open the package within 1 hour of delivery and submit the required photo and video proof within this window.
Ineligible Claims: Fish not inspected within the 1-hour window or without proper proof of DOA will not qualify for a refund or credit.

For the safety of our fish and to ensure best potential for an issue-free delivery, all orders require 48-72 hours to ship as I isolate and prepare fish prior to shipping.
