The Breeding Pair

This breeding project included two of my favorite fish from my collection. An eight-inch, male unfaded Super Red Texas Cichlid and a six-inch, female Herichthys minckleyi Cichlid which is actually now on the endangered species list. It took a few tries to get them to pair up and spawn but once they did, both were prime examples of parents.
